DENICE FLORES
Associate Attorney
Ms. Flores is the daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico. She has witnessed firsthand the impact immigration law has on immigrant families.
She joined Hurwitz Holt, APLC in 2015. She primarily assists clients who have been victims of crimes with their U-visa and adjustment of status applications. Additionally, she has experience with cancellation of removal, waivers, naturalization, and Deferred Action of Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Ms. Flores started as receptionist at Hurwitz Holt, APLC, and then became a legal assistant. Through her work she discovered her passion for immigration law and decided to attend law school to pursue a career as an immigration attorney. While in law school Ms. Flores worked with human rights and immigration non-profit organizations to bring awareness to the issues in immigrant communities. She also worked at the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, where she gained knowledge of criminal law and returned to Hurwitz Holt, APLC for her clinical externship.
In her free time, Ms. Flores enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and watching documentaries.
