Legal Assistant – San Diego Office

Ms. Sevilla joined Hurwitz Holt, APLC in 2018. She assists clients with appointments, renewing Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications and employment authorization, translation of documents, FOIA requests, and background checks. Ms. Sevilla primarily focuses on assisting attorneys in preparing various applications such as Advance Parole, Adjustment of Status, Asylum, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and Temporary Protective Status (TPS) applications.

Her passion for immigration law began at a young age, as a first-generation daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico. Her goal is to obtain her Paralegal Certificate and be more involved in helping immigrant families. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends.
