ELOINA GUERRERO
Paralegal - North County Office
Ms. Guerrero joined Hurwitz Holt, APLC in 2016. She works with clients from throughout Latin America in preparing their applications for immigration relief including asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, family-based petitions, naturalization, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, and employment authorization. Her passion for immigration justice stems from her family background, as a first-generation daughter of immigrant parents. During her undergrad, Ms. Guerrero interned with UURISE (Unitarian Universalist Refugee and Immigrant Services and Education), a local non-profit organization, where she discovered her passion for immigrant empowerment and education. This has led her to volunteer with a variety of networks throughout San Diego County that promote immigrant’s rights. Her internship and volunteer work with UURISE gave her hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with a broad cross-section of the immigrant population to address an equally broad set of issues. She continues to make a positive effect on the immigrant community through her work and volunteer efforts. In her free time, Ms. Guerrero enjoys spending time with her family, dog, Rosie, hiking/camping, and going to concerts.
