VERONICA STUART
Legal Assistant - San Diego Office
Ms. Stuart joined Hurwitz Holt, APLC in 2023. She assists the attorneys in a variety of cases including work authorization, advance parole, consular processing, adjustment of status, asylum, and more.
Ms. Stuart’s passion for immigration began at a young age, as the daughter of an immigrant mother from the Philippines, as well as being raised in South Bay San Diego. During her undergrad, Ms. Stuart worked as a Legal Intern with UC San Diego’s Undocumented Student Services where she assisted with legal filings and led quarterly student workshop events. She also did volunteer work with the ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties lobbying for immigrants’ rights and protections. She has recently graduated from UC San Diego with a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science—Public Law, and plans on going to law school in the near future. Ultimately, she hopes to become an attorney to continue to support migrant communities and make a difference in peoples’ lives. In her free time, Ms. Stuart enjoys exercising, cooking,
spending time outdoors, and watching the sunset.
