Ms. Frausto Ruano joined Hurwitz Holt, APLC in 2021. She assists attorneys in immigration court matters, including preparation and filing of Defensive Asylum and Cancellation of Removal applications. Her work also entails working closely with clients to prepare and file applications for Employment Authorization, Advance Parole, DACA, Affirmative Asylum, Naturalization, Military PIP/Deferred Action, U Visas, and T Visas with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (“USCIS”). Additionally, she provides support to clients in obtaining FOIAs and background checks.
As an immigrant and DACA recipient herself, Ms. Frausto Ruano is driven by her personal journey to extend her expertise and support to fellow immigrants. She is actively working towards attending law school in the coming years, with a focus on immigration law, to better advocate for immigrant rights. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, going to concerts, and cooking.
